DAG biosensors in PLoS.

Montana Molecular is very proud to announce that our  PLoS paper, Simultaneous Detection of Ca2+ and Diacylglycerol Signaling in Living Cells, has now been downloaded over 4000 times!

We appreciate all who have taken the time to read about our work to build better tools for second messenger detection and we especially appreciate when people get in touch with us about using these tools for signaling research and drug discovery.  We were especially happy to see our sensors in action in recent papers by early adopters in John William’s lab and Sasha Obukhov’s lab.

We sincerely appreciate the time and effort these and many other labs have taken to demonstrate the value of making direct, kinetic measurements of second messenger activity in so many different types of living cells.

In the meantime, we have been building a new robust red DAG biosensor.  The palette keeps expanding!  Let us know if you would like to try these out in your lab too.
