Many diseases that impact millions of people still lack effective treatments. New treatments could be developed if better tools for drug discovery were available. The more we can learn about the cell signals that impact disease and the mechanism of how drugs effect cell signaling pathways, the better our predictions will be about how new drugs will work in humans.
