This sensor has now been packaged in our Big Sky BacMam vector, yielding greatly improved expression in cell types including HEK and CHO cells. The new product number is #U0650R, but this product, #U0600R, is still available to purchase. Please reach out to us with any questions.
The fluorescent, genetically-encoded Ca2+ indicator (GECO) was developed by Robert Campbell’s lab at University of Alberta. R-GECO can be paired with green fluorescent cADDis cAMP sensors or DAG sensors to simultaneously detect both Ca2+ and cyclic AMP or and diacylglycerol in living cells. The BacMam delivery system enables consistent and controllable expression in a wide variety of cell types including iPSC-derived cardiomyocytes and neurons.
