#U0650G Green GECO Ca2+ Assay Kit (Big Sky)
$795.00 – $2,895.00
Green fluorescent calcium assay for detecting real-time calcium signaling on fluorescence plate readers and imaging systems. Standard stock comes with CMV promoter. Other promoters are available, please inquire!
This is an update to product #U0600G, the difference being that the G-GECO biosensor is packaged in Montana Molecular's Big Sky BacMam vector.
The fluorescent, genetically-encoded calcium (Ca2+) indicator (GECO) was developed by Robert Campbell’s lab at University of Alberta. G-GECO can be paired with r-cADDis, our red fluorescent cAMP sensor, or our red fluorescent DAG sensors to simultaneously detect both Ca2+ and cyclic AMP or diacylglycerol in living cells. The BacMam delivery system enables consistent and controllable expression in a wide variety of cell types including iPSC-derived cardiomyocytes and neurons. More details on this tool can be found on the Calcium Assays page.
Materials in the Kit:
• Green GECO Sensor Big Sky BacMam
• Sodium Butyrate 500 mM in H2O.
• Z0200R human M1 muscarinic acetylcholine receptor BacMam with nuclear red label in TNM-FH Insect Culture Medium.
• Carbachol 25 mM in H2O
