MitoMatrixCaL-Mitochondria-Targeted G-GECO Ca2+ Assay Kit – Big Sky (U0652G)

$995.00

Green fluorescent calcium assay that has been targeted to the Mitochondria. Packaged in Big Sky BacMam, standard stock comes with CMV promoter.

The fluorescent, genetically-encoded calcium (Ca2+) indicator (GECO) was developed by Robert Campbell’s lab at University of Alberta. This is a mitochondrial Ca2+ sensor that is targeted to the matrix of the mitochondria using COX8; H2B-Red: nucleus. The sensor is very bright and can be used to measure Ca2+ changes within the mitochondria on a plate reader with an excellent SNR. The BacMam delivery system enables consistent and controllable expression in a wide variety of cell types including iPSC-derived cardiomyocytes and neurons. More details on this tool can be found on the Targeted Calcium Assays page.

Materials in the Kit:

• Green MitoMatrixCaL Ca2+ Sensor Big Sky BacMam.

• Sodium Butyrate 500 mM in H2O.

• Z0200R human M1 muscarinic acetylcholine receptor BacMam with nuclear red label in TNM-FH Insect Culture Medium.

• Carbachol 25 mM in H2O
